MC organises European Day of Languages in Brussels

The European Day of Languages

Back in 2001, the European Commission proclaimed the 26th September of each year as the European Day of Languages. Since then, cultural and linguistic diversity, plurilingualism, and lifelong language learning have been celebrated throughout Europe every year to encourage European citizens to learn new languages. This shall contribute to a higher appreciation of all European languages and rich cultural heritage of our continent, facilitating intercultural understanding.

MC has been appointed by the Directorate-General for Education and Culture to devise and implement this year’s events for the European Day of Languages. MC Brussels and MC Berlin will be working jointly to deliver a comprehensive programme of activities in Brussels on 25th September. Furthermore, MC will be responsible for the complete branding and the production of advertising material.
